Motion’s iconic sound system showcased in a striking greyscale print on white cotton.

The Res 9 system debuted at the turn of the millennium, featuring advanced technologies such as aerospace-grade aluminum composite construction, Neodymium magnets, and integrated PWM (Class D) amplifiers for 3-way active operation.

Though a full touring version was never produced, the Res 9 concept laid the foundation for the Res 5T system. Following its use at the Millennium Dome, Res 9s were employed in various high-profile events, including Jamiroquai’s 2002 Japan tour, where they served as long-throw sections for Res 5T arrays. For outdoor applications, the system was converted to passive (externally amplified) operation, with protective covers for the mid-high section.
